Ladies Open Day

Our wonderful Ladies Section hosted their Open Day on the 1st July and what beautiful weather they had for it!

Our visiting ladies who played were all well fed and refreshed with gorgeous homemade cakes.

Thanks to all of our Ladies Section who took park in an excellent day, all lead by Captain Helen Evans pictured below alongside her Vice Captain Judith Jessop.

90 Visitors from 21 clubs took part in the Open Day.

The results were as follows:

1st – L Davies, T. Dix and A. Griffiths from Carmarthen, with a fantastic 86 points

2nd  –  J Thomas (Cottrell), M. Watkins and L. Jones – Radyr with 84 points

3rd  –  C Roberts, A.Lewis and J Evans from Pontypridd

There were also prizes for Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive. 11 Birdies were scored, by 10 ladies, with each earning a box of 3 balls!
